Okay so this mini was born in 99, and she is super friendly, has had babies, and has been shown. She is $450. Is this a good price for her? Do you see anything wrong with her?
Welcome to the world of minis! I promise you, you'll be hooked! What has she been shown in? Is she registered, and if so which registry(ies)? She looks fairly nicely put together, a little down hill maybe. Her bloodlines will also help in determining a price, if they're known. I quite like her, and would pay the $450 for her.
All the owner's ad said was "Registered '99 mini mare that is 31" tall. Proven show horse and broodmare"
I contacted the owner and was told she is registered with the AMHA. The owner is going to contact them to find out what her show record is like and what foals she has had as the previous owner was the one who showed her.
She is also going to come bred to this 27" stallion. (who is also for sale)
I am checking to find out how much he costs because I am sort of interested in him too. What do you think?
I would take both, but then again I'd take them all! We currently have 8 minis(2 bred for sure, maybe four), a Shetland and 6 big horses. I'd say go for it, they both look to be quite nice. Just if you do breed, make sure both of them are tested for LWO, because even though they are not pinto, it can hide very well.
