O So in the House!

I think I made a mistake! LOL My house separates my yards. Normally when I take O So from his normal yard to the one on the other side of the house, I take him through the driveway area. Well today I was in the "other" yard with him and decided to take a short cut. LOL We went through the house!!

It took a little bit to get O So to walk up the steps of the back porch, but he finally did it! Once inside he was like a bull in a china store! LOL Ok, not that bad but I did have to steer him away from "my" china cabinet. He was just naturally curious about everything and had to stick his nose into everything. We didn't stay in the house long though. On the way back out I had to make sure there was another step that he had to go down. He figured it out and all is well! Well, kind of. He now knows how to get up on the porch. LOL I went in the house and shut the door, then turned and looked out and here he came, jumping up on the porch! LOL Oh, the porch has only one step, so it is not like it is real high.

I can see it now though. He will be knocking on the door to come in! Really, if I knew he wouldn't pee or poo in the house, I would probably let him!

Here are some pics. Some are pretty blurry. I had a hard time holding him and also taking pics with my phone. LOL

You can kind of make out the china cabinet at the top of the pic!

He found the dog bowl in this one!

Going through the house made it a lot easier to go from one side to the other though! I didn't have to worry about my little dog getting out of the yard! LOL

I'm pretty lucky! My hubby wouldn't care if I kept him ( O So) in the house. LOL

Oh my goodness, yep, gott'a agree with the man/woman comment!

I would probably bring one of our minis in the house, but my hubby, well, he puts up with a lot, but I don't think he'd go for that.....
Unless it was an emergency type situation of some kind.

I am taking it there were no "accidents" left behind in the transfer from yard to yard?

yeah, my hubby is pretty cool...but he just about broke his back installing hardwood floors last year. If he saw a bunch of little hoof prints in the wood, i would be in BIG trouble. At first, he didn't want me to bring the minis up to the pool/patio area...it has new brick pavers. I told him that was part of the fun of having minis, so he is ok with it now. That is where I bond with them the best...there is no grass to eat so they just hang out with me and I can love on them with their full attention!
