Smile Pasture buddies?

Can I get info on how much they are for farrier and vets?
4H shows too (Like a fair)?

I might get a miniature pony if I move so I will have a pasture mate for my horse. Or a couple minis.
So please give me the schedule of farriers, like when they should come out??
As often as my horse or less or more?
Vet bills?

And details that I will NEED

One day, I said you would be mine... And I was right.

Most everything is the same aside from feed costs. I would advise against a mini for a companion for a horse, go with a larger pony. One playful kick and the mini is dead. They also cannot be on the same amount of pasture as a horse.

I would be leery of getting a mini as a pasture buddy if your current horse has never been exposed to them before. It was always interesting going to open shows, fairs, and 4H shows and having all the horses worked up because they had never seen a mini before. Now on the other hand, I used to pasture 2 mini mares (33"), a 13.2 pony gelding, a 15.3 Appendix QH mare, and A 17.1 Clydesdale mare together. Guess who was the boss?
