should i train him to harness?

I have a little shetland. His name is zorro :P
I can ride im and everything and he is good...he just doesnt turn properly...and the fact I am a little big to ride him
But I would want to train him to harness :P is this a good idea? And how would I start his training?...should I ground drive him?
    Thanx :P

I say go for it! Most horses love to learn & teaching him something new will give him something to think about instead of the same'ol same'ol.
Ground driving is also a good start for any discipline ;) That way you can teach the horse to turn, stop & backup without actually being in the saddle.
