What color is she?

Here are some updated photos of my foal, Mystee Blue. She is 2 months old now and her color is very interesting. She was born all black with blue eyes, which are unchanged. Any ideas?

I think she's still a black (or dark bay) but just sunbleached. If you clip her foal coat you will see the real color

The legs are throwing me off though...if she was a true black, or even a true bay, they would be black by now correct?

Shes only two months so it may not show yet. I do think it will show if you clip her. I had a couple foals look just like this though that I thought were bay and when clipped were black. She has some small white socks so that will make it harder to see black points on the legs

Ohh I wouldnt clip her!!! I love that baby fur, but again that's just me and its your horse :P so cute by the way

What colour are her sire and dam. That should give you a bit of a hint. So far, she looks black. If her eyes remain blue, then she carries Splash. She also could carry frame, even though she is solid. You'll need to test her for that before ever breeding, if it's something you plan in the future.

Is the roan her dam or the bay? She looks a bit roany to be with those legs.

Looks like she'll be a brown to me. Possibly black bay, though I doubt true black. Too much brown in her for that.

The sire was all black, the roan is the dam. I'm not clipping her, I can wait for her true color to show, its just all new to me. I don't know if this will help any, but the sire of the roan is palomino and the dam is a blue roan.
