I'm not thrilled with the top 13 but my favorites are in there. I too, felt that that a lot of good singers were passed up, but unfortunately, there isn't room for everyone.

I think I have my top two favorites and they are both in so I'm pleased. :)
I agree! There was one girl and one guy who didn't make the initial top ten who I think should have! But am mostly happy with the rest.
Poor Eben. Such a sweet voice, but I think he just wasn't ready yet. Hopefully the rules will change and he can return when he is a little older.

I won't say names yet for those who haven't watched, but those who have will know what I'm saying.

I was not happy about who was bottom person for the girls. It should have been the other one. At least the right person went home though in my opinion.

OMG! I so wanted a contestant to sing "Longest Time!" It's my favorite Billy Joel song. Talk about a treat for me since I get to see them all sing it!
Watching now to see who gets eliminated. I really don't know who it will be, but since Elise has spent so much time at the bottom it seems like her luck could have run out despite the good performance.

Yay! I am so glad Heejun was safe! He hasn't been singing well lately, but I still love him. He's so much fun!
I HATE what Erika did with her hair and I kinda think most people did, too, which is why she eliminated because OMG, that girl can sing! I wish she had been saved. :(

Also, I am torn on Scotty McCreary singing "Please Remember Me" in the going home videos. I LOVE that song. The first time I heard Tim McGraw sing it I was frozen in time, just listening. I don't know how I feel about someone who is not Tim McGraw singing it, even though I do like Scotty's deep voice.

Ya know, I have his Greatest Hits Volume 1 and 2 and the majority of the songs sang I didn't recognize. I was surprised.

There were songs that I didn't know he'd written.

I am a big country fan and a minimal "other" fan. I knew most of Whitneys songs because I'm of the "We are the World" era but other than that, I don't know many rock and roll songs or even pop. I will admit I like Britney and even Hilary Duff. I even have a Hilary CD because I bought it for a friends daughter for Christmas one year thinking that I was the coolest adult friend ever... Turns out she thought Hilary was a loser so I kept the CD and bought her something her mom told me to buy...

I recognize Elvis songs...
