Yeah, I had NO idea he had done "Shameless!" I love listening to Garth Brooks sing that because of all the passion he puts into the song. Skyler did well, but I don't think she could do justice because she hasn't felt that way. The only reason she did it was because it was country.
Love me some Elvis songs!
I am really wanting a Weird Al week though! Lol That would be so awesome!

She did awful and I really like her. I think she's bubbly and cute and really is a great performer but she did awful on that song. I was certain she was going home.

Heejun is another one that had quite a few mess-ups but he didn't do awful, just had some places. I love watching him....

I love watching him, too. His dry humor is amusing! I am afraid he will be going home next week though.

Oh, I just checked. He has the support of VoteForTheWost.com. That may keep him in for a couple weeks. It saved Sanjaya back in the day. Man, I hated that kid.

I still haven't decided who my fav is yet.

Anybody else Not a fan of the new stage this year? Seems like the theater is smaller and for whatever reason they chose the stage design and layout that they did, it makes everything seem even smaller and amaturish. Almost a little Star Search-ish (uh oh- I just dated myself)

Ok, I'm leaning towards being a Colton Dixon fan. I have liked all of his performances so far, but really appreciated tonight's.
Great performance and great song!

I'm not a Colton fan.... not sure why... Love Phillip Phillips though... and the bubbly country girl... I don't have a favorite yet but I'm really routing for Heejun...

Yeah, Colton had to grow on me. I guess in watching some of the blurbs about him and tonight's song I can appreciate what he is all about.

I'm a Phillip Phillips fan for sure. I like someone who is unique and that he is. Love the voice/Dave Matthews vibe about him.

Ya know, I so did not want Phillip Phillips to get in, but he is one who has grown on me. :) I definitely adore Colton. He has a wonderful talent and has his niche. However, I think that because he is so entrenched in that niche he won't make it to the end. It may be like a Chris Daughtry moment.
Still not sure who I think will go all the way. I might have more to say after I watch tonight's episode. :)

I can NOT stand curly haired boy and his high pitched girly voice!

I finally realized that a girl I was friends with on FB (we had worked together) had posted a video of a song Colton recorded last year. She had met him last year when they were both on AI and both left during Hell Week. She is super religious and I see that he is, as well. I'm not sure how well a religious singer would do on American Idol.
Joshua has the church voice, but he doesn't push the religion.
Not saying there is anything wrong with it, but it doesn't sell well enough and isn't for American Idol.
Okay...moving on.
