Any fellow anime geeks?

I hate to admit that I am, sadly, a little bit obsessed with two anime series at the moment. One is Death Note, which I am sure many of you are familiar with, as it's one of the more popular ones, and Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni Kai, which translates into "When They Cry." Higurashi is a fantastic murder mystery series, and I'm on the second season. (the first is called Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni)

I have had many people recommend Naruto to me, as well as Bleach and Vampire Knight. Any comments to those? I'd like to feel like I'm not alone! Haha.

Lol, it's interesting you are into this. I watched all of the Death Note episodes, including all of the movies :) I love Bleach, it is a fun little show that has TONS of episodes and a few movies. I highly recomend it. I also like Ah! My Goddess but am having trouble finding the second season online.

I've enjoyed Bleach, Blood+, Trinity Blood, Samurai 7, InuYasha, Cowboy Bebop, and pretty much everything by Hayao Miyazaki.

Miyazaki was a full length feature filmmaker though, and not really into doing series.

I'd like to see the Samurai Champloon series, as well as Ghost in the Shell.

I've seen quite a few movies that I enjoyed too, Like Tokyo Godfathers.

Not really interested in the Naruto series, so I don't have a clue whether or not that one's any good.

I would recommend Ghost in the Shell..kinda different from what you're probably used to, because it's older, but still an interesting pick. I've seen the first episode, then stopped watching it because I was too busy with school and other stuff.

6. Samurai X or Rurouni Kenshin

I love love love love LOVE Chobits(both the books and the tv show), Inu Yasha(both books and tv show/movies), Whistle, Hikaru No Go, Samurai Deeper, and a few others that slip my mind at the moment.
