I choose my horror movies wisely I can't stand movies like Saw, Human Centipede, etc. I think they're disgusting. Although, I did just start watching The Walking Dead and I like it, despite the massive amount of gore

I love Alfred Hitchcock (the master of horror), Tim Burton, The Twilight Zone, etc.

Donnie Darko (most wouldn't consider it a horror movie) is one of the best films I've ever seen. Once you get deep enough into it, really think about it, it's truly terrifying. And I love it

I enjoyed The Uninvited. One of the few horror movies I've seen twice except for the above mentioned, those I've seen more than just a few times.

You know what was really gross? The Fly. The one with Jeff Goldblum.

I remember watching it with a friend back in high school. We screamed our heads off when he turned into a fly. It was the most disgusting thing I've ever seen.

Love Horror movies- especially the ones based on true stories! The older black and white cult films are some of my favorites- Freaks, Reefer Madness (not really a horror, but kind of creepy). The Masters of Horror series on the Chiller channel is great too.

A few people have mentioned Saw.

SPOILER ALERT - DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN SAW

I've got to say, I thought it was epic when Jigsaw rose from the floor at the end, having been right in front of them the whole time.

Ok, I've read all the posts and I am shocked that no one has mentioned Night of the Living Dead (the original)!! My best friend and I would spend the at each others house and watch it through holes in the blanket we had covering us! 'they're coming to get you, Barbara......' Hahaha, loved it!!
