Agreed. The movie said "eff racism" but in a very brutal and in my opinion, over the top, way. It does not "stand" for racism, it's a huge fight against it. The title itself is Django UNCHAINED. As in FREED.
My objection was the brutality. I can't come up with a better comparison, and it's not very good, but I'm thinking of The Boy With the Striped Pajamas. It tells about the awful reality of concentration camps and the devastating effects, but it's more... subtle. Not subtle on it's own, but more subtle than Django. It wove a beautifully devastating tale, whereas Django was too "in your face" for my liking.
And any movie that randomly shows you a clear picture of man junk makes me uncomfortable, lol.
