Well I remember reading that he had written book four and it was soooooo big that they had to split it into two books (4 & 5) which is why book four only gives two story lines (basically) and book five will tell the other two story lines.

I need to reread them again. So good. It makes me happy that he's not afraid to kill characters off. Haha

See here, Spooky, that's not fair. I'm not sure I want to know which of the main characters are going to die . I have not read the books (had never even heard of them until I learned of them here) so I am having to make do with the series. I am thoroughly enjoying it though. They cast it well.

Don't tell me, the author is like Jean Auel or Stephen King and stretches the time between the publishing of each book in a series up to 5-15 years? If so, that makes me happy that I normally don't hear of these series until the author is almost finished writing them all . That way, I don't have to wait for a long time like everyone else.

Smrobs! Sorry. The series is great though. I LOVE Arya, they did an awesome job with her. Littlefinger too.

The Author is George RR Martin, he is pokey. And kinda old and fat. Please don't die Mr. Martin. Go ahead and pass on that third big mac, mmkay?

Crimson: Wow, '05 already. UGH!

I second that, I think my favorite is Arya just because she's not afraid to speak her mind and she's a hell of a tough little girl. I am also coming to like Daenyras?? (the blonde headed girl married to Drogo). Especially since she has started to stand up to her psychotic brother. I keep hoping that Drogo will chop off his head and mount it on a pike LOL.

Daenerys is by far my favorite character followed by Tyrion.

Seriously - the story just gets better as it goes on. You won't be disappointed.
