Seriously though, is it sad? Am I going to cry?

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/

Probably.
Though for the record, I cried at Lady and the Mountain's horse.

Yeah, that made me mad. It always makes me mad when a person's stupidity is the cause of an animal's unjustified death .

He is a very despicable character. Which is something Martin is good at!

You should read the books after the series. I bet you'd love them.

I have them in my Amazon shopping cart and will likely be getting them with my next order . The only bad thing is that I am so far behind on my reading right now that I'll never get them started LOL.

I've been watching the show but had no idea it was based off of a book. That makes me feel better I was starting to wonder if this was going anywhere ( I'm watching Sunday's show tonight). I mean, what are these white walkers and whats up with the wolves? Do they reveal that soon? I agree that HBO needs to lay off the nude scenes but apparently a lot of people disagree with us because it's present in every one of their shows! I think it takes away from the story. Am I a nerd or is the opening score not amazing?

The opening score is freaking awesome. :)
I suppose the show would make a LOT more sense if you read the books, but it should come together soon with the wolves at least.

I can't believe they broke the 'sausage rule'. :o (Theon)

well - the show is actually following how the books are written pretty well including the graphic violence and sexual content. The only thing that is "hard" about these books/story is that there are soooo many characters that it's hard to cover everything all the time/per episode so i'm sure they'll come back to some things at some point to clarify.

Yeah they have been doing a decent job of summing things up that happened in the book, but not on the series.

I have to laugh at people who read the books and were surprised about Renly and Loras. Seriously people, how could you miss that?
