Alright I'm caught up on the show now. Wow that was werid. But a good episode - I feel like its starting to have some kind of direction. Just to make sure, the Lanisters are just ridiculously rich, correct? Or were they royal at one time before (prior to the one being queen currently).

technically all of the 7 houses are royal - hence why the king is the king of the 7 kingdoms. but yes, they do have money. ;)

So the Starks are royal? Winterfell is a "house" right?

I've read all the books and I'm watching the show as well, I gotta say I wish they had the dire wolves in the show more. They are so important in the books!

I started watching the show not knowing that it was based on a book, I found the constant nudity and swearing annoying - as it suggested "the story is rubbish, but look boobies!!!" and the swearing was just stupid, if you're going to swear, then swear properly, don't just chuck the F word in for the sake of it!

I bought the book in order to find out what the "backstory" was and although they've stuck to the book very closely, I found the not telling us everything a bit annoying, like Viserys and Daenaerys being from a family of incestuous parenting (therefore making Viserys insane) - if I'd known that, then the whole selling his sister to a warlord would have made a lot more sense!

I haven't been able to watch any more of the show as my mother has dementia and she got hysterical at the nudity/sex and foul language

I have read most of the book now, and I find it rather annoying going from one character to the other and back again...

"Did I not just use the word 'puzzling'?"

I'm loving the series although I must admit I just thought the more graphic scenes were the result of the producer saying to the script writers, "right boys, we're showing this after the watershed, go nuts!". I'm going to have to read the books. I love the casting as well especially Sean Bean, he is amazing, loved him as Sharpe, Boromir and now as Ned Stark. Do they show more of the White Walkers? They can't throw a teaser like that right at the start then never follow it up.

As for the Sookie Stackhouse books they said Trueblood had to be different because the books were all Sookie and it wouldn't have been practical for a TV show to be purely her. I personally like it because I like how they have developed the side characters and I'm very glad they did change it so Lafayette stayed in because the bloke who plays him is gorgeous. I think again they've got the casting right, the woman who plays Tara was different than what I imagined from the books but she works well and was a good choice.

I loved the last episode of GoT. The crown was awesome.

That is all.

That was amazing that episode. I love Khal Droga, amazing character when you see him.

Spooky, I actually stood up and applauded when that happened .

Did anyone else watch the full episode preview for episode 7? Can I just say Holy Crap!! this show is getting tense .

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/
