Talking Guess the Song!

It seems to me that I've seen a similar thread on here like this but I'm making a new one because it's most-likely dead ;)

Pretty much you just write a phrase or stanza from a song and give the genre it's in for a hint (or if you want, the band or singer).

Everyone guesses, whoever guesses the right song it is from gets to post the next phrase. This means that the person who posts lyrics must keep a watch on here when they've posted.

Me first :)

Genre: Classic Rock
Lyrics: 'You're lookin' good just like a snake in the grass.'

This might be a bit easy to some.

Most people are like Slinkies; they serve no real purpose, but they bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.
When you come to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on for dear life.

Is it Don't Bring Me Down by Electric Light Orchestra? Sorry I don't listen to classic rock that much. That was the most common title that came up on google.:P
