Happy Anniversary to me! Going to see BUCK!

My husband gets the hubby of the year award

I didn't know we had ANY plans for our anniversary....heading 2 hours from home to a jacuzzi suite, dinner & the late showing of BUCK! He even arranged for someone to take care of the horses & dogs!

He knows me so well after being married for 7 years & together for 11.

I will be sure to let you all know how the movie is! I CAN'T WAIT

Congratulations! What a wonderful husband you have!

My hubby drove me 1h 20 min to see Buck last night. He's pretty non-horsey but very supportive of me and he really enjoyed the movie. At the end he said...I want to go home and give Jake (my belgian X) a hug for being such a good boy!

    Have a fantastic time!

Thanks! He's pretty great, we met on a blind date set up by my high school best friend, she had to beg me for 2 weeks to go & I am so glad I finally gave in and said yes!

I've heard so many great reviews about the movie. Buck is certainly a true horseman I've looked up to for a long time along with Ray Hunt. I'm pretty excited!

I just went to see the movie Fri. It was my birthday present. It is definitely worth watching.
Being the geek I am, I love this quote from "The Greatest Horse Stories Ever Told" -"Tom Dorrance is Yoda, Ray Hunt is Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Buck Brannanman is Luke Skywalker".

Your husband gets a gold star on the forehead from all of us.! Hope you have a wonderful evening. I saw the movie here in Seattle. It is very well done. When you see the stuff about an aggressive horse, it makes some discussions on aggression in horses here pale in comparison.

That's why my husband wanted to give Jake a big hug.

Buck was great! Could've been 2 or 3 hours longer lol! I just wanted to grab that woman (with the 18 studs) and shake her. My hubby turned to me and said "Maybe they should just euth her instead..."

Anyway, had a fabulous anniversary. Thanks for the well wishes!
