I love every single horse movie I have ever seen. However, here are my favorites.
-Dreamer
-Flicka
-Flicka 2
-Flicka 3 Country Pride
-The Man From Snowy River

If you haven't seen any of these.. I suggest you try them out! I love them.

War Horse is great!
I saw the most sincere feelings between people and animals from this film, and also shocked by this sentence: "The war has taken everything from everyone."
Good horse sparked beautiful feelings of the jointly owned between different nation, the feelings come from understanding, appreciation and sympathetic. It is the same for men and horses.

Under the setting sun, Joey is so beautiful!!

"I'm not a horse trainer, I'm a horseman. What’s the difference?A horse trainer trains horses; a horseman trains himself." – Chris Cox

International Velvet
Danny - I knew all those people and horses
Sylvester
Black Stallion
Seabiscuit
True Grit - the original.
Man from Snowy River
Secretariat...just the Belmont...the rest was pitiable.

I never knew there was an 'international velvet' until this thread! I was talking about the Liz taylor movie from the 40's, but now I'll have to check out the '78 sequel ;)

You must. Especially if you're a Christopher Plummer or Anthony Hopkins fan. Fatima O'Neal is the lead.

Of course my favorite movie is Phar Lap. Always has and always will be. I still cry when I watch it.

I thought I saw all horse movies but there are a few on here that apparently I missed. I am going to check them out.
