AMAZING MOVIE!!!

Me and my friend painted flames on our legs and worte "Girl on Fire" on our legs AND made the Mockingjay pin very large on our thigh. Amazing night!

Who else was hysterically crying at the Rue seen? Ahh I was like dying.

I was a dreamer
Before you went and let me down.

Here we are! My mockingjay is on my hidden leg...we also braided out hair and put on some red sparkly eyeshadow. It was awesome.

First of all, when the muttation jumped out, I jumped out of my seat and screamed.

When rue was calling for katniss my heart was pounding so hard because I knew what was going to happen but I didn't want to cry.

ALOT of parts frustrated me, when katniss snuck out instead of giving peeta the medicine. When Katniss gave prim the mockingjay pin instead of Madge....I also really thought they should have had a VoiceOver as katniss' thoughts..would have told the story alot better..especially in the arena. You think it's one way..when in the books, it's a lot different.

Sure, the movie was good..but the book is much, much better.

I liked it but I wasn't....amazed. Still cried when Rue died.

AND DANGIT!! Me, Brittney, and Natalie were totally all dressed up and I forgot my camera. :( Soooo irritated with that!

Pssh.I didn't pick up the wrong lead
It's called a counter canter...
...A very advanced maneuver.

WesternBella, yes! You read my thoughts EXACTLY. And I was kind of bummed with the Rue part!! In the books (I am almost positive this is right, but correct me if I'm wrong), she gets snared in the trap by the boy but she is dangling from a tree or at least something of that kind. He throws the spear at her, and then Katniss shoots him and cuts her down. Not her on the ground, and then she stands up and is shot with the spear.

The little details...but yeah. At lot of the parts, I truthfully thought were a bit bland but only because of the silence. I kept expecting a voice-over. But I also thought of how in the books, it's only in her point of view; which would have helped in the movie. For many people, a lot of the parts wouldn't make sense (i.e. The explosion in the mines, why her mother went into the catatonic-ish state when their dad died, etc.) I think with voice-overs that would have helped explain to the people who had not read the books.

But like I said: a good outline, but just not what I expected. I thought there'd be a lot more detail.
