That's right, Aang wants to go visit different places before they head up to the North Pole.

I didn't watch the series in sequence, so I sometimes get them out of order.

Book 1 Chapter 4. I just got done watching it lol! I bought the second and third season last night :))

I think I'm still going to see the movie, but I'm going to be ticked through half of it for name miss-pronunciation!

If it truely ends up being the abomination that many people see it as, I will not be blaming M. Night solely. I will also be blaming the creators of the original series, Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, because they were executive producers on the movie and if it is horrible, it is because they allowed it to become so.

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/

smrobs, it's being panned by pretty much everyone. Fans of the series, regular movie goers who never saw the series, and critics alike all hate it.

Yes, I blame the Last Airbender creators for this mess as much as M. Night. They must have had some sort of creative control, otherwise their names wouldn't be on the credits.

I don't care if people want to make money. After all, each one of us work to finance our lifestyles. What I do care about is the trashing of an absolutely wonderful chance to make a great movie out of a very popular animated series.

I mean, the names weren't "mispronouced", just pronounced more phantically than in the show. And more "properly" maybe. It's hard to fit 600 minutes of animation into 100 minutes of movie. The only thing I was sad about was that they didn't fit in any of the humor that was in the series

It got so annoying throughout the movie, when Aang said "My name is 'Ong'" I wanted to yell out NO IT ISN'T!

I don't watch the show and haven't watched the movie - but these names are Japanese, then, right? If it is based on Japanese - then the correct way to say Iroh would be to pronounce it E-roh. I's in Japanese are always pronounced as a "E". Double Aa is like "O". Maybe the animation you so love mispronounced the names?

Yes, it did mispronounce the name but its an American cartoon that is supposed to look Japanese. I guess my point is that it is a widely popular show, why change the names so they are pronounced correctly when most of the fans are going to think they are being pronounced wrong?

Also I thought the moves they have to do for the bending are a bit rediculous. It looks like they are dancing haha. They do allll that and then one tiny thing happens...

The reason that they have those moves is that the bending styles are based on different forms of martial arts; water = tai chi because it is a fluid style/appearance, etc.
