I liked how Hurley and Sawyer stayed true to their characters during the entire show. We saw a bit of Sawyer's soft side but it was more to explain his backstory than a change of character.

By then end of the show I really started to dislike Kate. To be honest, I was kind of hoping that she would die when she was shot... but... oh well. Haha.
I agree, Ben's character was so different from the rest, it was kinda hard not to like him!

Yep, that's why I liked them. I liked seeing how at the beginning of the show Hurley was really scared to do anything out of the normal, but by the end, he started coming out of his shell more to do what needed to be done, and wasn't scared to speak up for himself and all. It was really real.

Sawyer, his character at the beginning made me dislike him, but as the show went on, his character stayed stable, unlike the rest, which kept doing unpridictable things, and despite his horrible attitude about things sometimes, he had sarcasm that I found great.

I didn't like Kate really much from the start, but towards the end, she just started turning, I dunno...manipulative? I dunno if that's the right word, but she just wasn't too pleasant. She was trying to do things good for the rest of the people, but I thought she was trying too hard.

My boyfriend found this really interesting read: J.J. Abrams Employee Explains LOST, 14-Minute Epilogue To Appear on DVD - Techland - TIME.com

May or may not be true, but it's definitely worth reading.

As for Kate, I just found her to be annoying and her character wasn't believable anymore. Although I think part of my dislike for her was bias, I have a friend who met Evangeline Lily in person and apparently she was really rude to him.

Huh, I'll check it out. =) I've been reading a lot of different blogs and opinions on how the show ended, and I haven't quite settled on one I agree with entirely, although they all make good points in their own ways.

Too much drama associated with her.
Haha, that would definitely change how you'd view a character, I don't blame you.
