I never really tried to figure out Ben's motives or anything like that, I just loved how he was portrayed as a terrible, evil person and then suddenly he was good.. but then he was bad! but then he was good! Haha, his character was just very conniving and interesting.
I liked how Hurley and Sawyer stayed true to their characters during the entire show. We saw a bit of Sawyer's soft side but it was more to explain his backstory than a change of character.
By then end of the show I really started to dislike Kate. To be honest, I was kind of hoping that she would die when she was shot... but... oh well. Haha.
I agree, Ben's character was so different from the rest, it was kinda hard not to like him!
Yep, that's why I liked them. I liked seeing how at the beginning of the show Hurley was really scared to do anything out of the normal, but by the end, he started coming out of his shell more to do what needed to be done, and wasn't scared to speak up for himself and all. It was really real.
Sawyer, his character at the beginning made me dislike him, but as the show went on, his character stayed stable, unlike the rest, which kept doing unpridictable things, and despite his horrible attitude about things sometimes, he had sarcasm that I found great.
I didn't like Kate really much from the start, but towards the end, she just started turning, I dunno...manipulative? I dunno if that's the right word, but she just wasn't too pleasant. She was trying to do things good for the rest of the people, but I thought she was trying too hard.
