The Man From Snowy River/The Return to Snowy River

Those are my favorite movies. Well actually they are pretty much tied with Hidalgo. Does anybody else like them? Does anybody know the real name of the theme song?

I love both of them, but Hidalgo doesn't even come close.

A good cowboy always has a better horse at the end of the ride, a poor cowboy will be afoot reguardless of the horse.

I love all of them too. Did you ever notice in Return that the black horse is shod as he is running up the hill? How did he get shoes on him so quick? LOL That movie is the whole reason I love black horses though.

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/

smrobs - me too! Though I wanted my black horse to be a draft one! I got him eventually!

When Snowy River came out I used to practice riding my horse down the moraine just like they did. Silly kid stuff. My horse was really good at it though!

Unless it weighs a ton... it's just a horse. Draft horse motto.

The first one is probably hubby and my favorite movie. It is very special to us, it had a lot to do with us getting together :) Jessica's Theme was the song played for our first dance at our wedding, and it's the ringtone on my phone when he calls me :) (was on his old phone but can't get it on his current one)

Oh and my name is Jessica, and his is Craig (main characters are Jim Craig and Jessica ;) )
