DW hasn't been very good so far this season (as shown on BBC), episode 4 was much, much better, and episode 5 was quite good (fairly creepy), it's a two parter, so we'll have to wait until next week to see if it keeps up the standard!

I think the new series is fairly good and despite initially not liking Matt Smith too much I've been completely won over. I do hope they go back to the Daleks of the 9/10th Doctors because they were much scarier than these multi coloured ones. I always think of Smarties when I see them.

Favourite companion is all of them except Martha Jones because she irritates me and I found her a rather wishy washy character. Catherine Tate as Donna Noble surpassed my expectations and I loved her in that role, I was quite sad to see her leave.

Repo is amazing, I have been forced to watch it multiple times by my sister and then secretly by myself for the Grave Robber, still think he could have done with a top hat though.

Don't watch Merlin because it grates on my nerves. I don't like the changes to the Arthur storyline, Guinevere was a princess not a servant. It's little things like that which irritate me.

Eagles may soar but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

I love Doctor Who! I started with a little bit of series 4, but wasn't too serious about it. I got into season 5 fairly and was really sucked into 6. I've liked half of season six's episodes so far. 1 and 2 were great, and 6 was very interesting. ;)

My favorite doctor is a tie between 10 and 11, but I lean towards 11. My favorite companion (if you could call her a proper companion) is River.

(Proper companion would be Donna.)

In thread-digging-up-worthy news, the trailer for the latter half of Doctor Who series six came out yesterday! Any thoughts? I THINK the next episode is going to be about 8/27. A day before my birthday!

I haven't watched Merlin much yet, but I do watch Doctor Who. Does anyone else have an opinion on the first three episodes of season 7? IMO, Asylum of the Daleks was decent and interesting but nothing special, Dinosaurs on a Spaceship was fun to watch, but kind of pointless, and A Town Called Mercy was awesome. Hopefully it will continue to improve - the next one looks like it could be either excellent or merely alright.

AotD: I liked it. It gets a lot of hate, but the twist was pretty legit. I wasn't a huge fan of Amy and Rory's relationship drama and would rather have just had the main plot as the only plot.

DoaS: Meh. Romp episode. Good for a romp, but I don't like romps much. The end made it up to me.

TCM: I have no reason to not like this episode, but I just didn't get emotionally involved in the story. The plot was solid; the pace was slower than usual, and I liked that. The resolution pretty meh, but I couldn't think of a way to end it better.

Overall, I like series 7. The show keeps me coming back and entertained, so it's doing its job! I'm not one of "those" fans who picks apart every episode and whines over how the show is sooo bad.

We LOVE Merlin, can't wait for next season! It's so corny though, the guys are meh but who can't get enough of their horses...
Now LOST GIRL was FANTASTIC! I used to think vampires were hot but after True Blood and now Lost Girl, I've turned.
