I am looking forward to it coming out. As for those who hated Seabiscuit because it wasn't perfectly accurate? They can kiss my foot!! I read the book and while the movie is different in certain points, it is still one of the most accurate depictions of "based on a true story" I have ever seen in a movie.

I would have given my eyeteeth to have been able to see Secretariat race in real life. I still hope every year for a triple crown sweep. I want to see just 1 in my life.

Looking forwards to seeing the movie. Wish I had had the time to read the book, because this movie looks like it's going to be good.

When I lived in Germany there was this huge book, I think it was called "100 years of Thoroughbred Racing" I read those stories and stats over and over again. I must have checked that book out from the library a million times. I also read Walter Farleys versions of seabiscuit and man o' war.

The movie Seabiscuit was good, but it really veared off course so it was a bit of a let down. I will watch Secretariat, but not at the theatre, I'll wait until it comes out on DVD. I can't wait to hear the reviews. It's Disney so I am certain it will be good. But I can already tell it's veared off course.

I wish they would do a movie about Man O' War....

I am taking my bf to go see it. Pretty much making him go to it. Lol.

Seabiscuit was a really well made movie....even if it was slightly off. The casting was excellent and they all fit their roles really well.

(Also excited for the next Harry Potter movie to come out. I am a nut about it. Ontario Science Center even had an exhibit from the movie and I went to it. That's how nerdy I am about HP. Sorry....had to add it in!!!)

Let's see, our movie crowd will be: Me, both my aunts, 3 of my cousins, my parents, 2 neices, sister, 2 good friends. We're a horsie crowd.

I do wish they'd make one about Man O War too.

Saw Secretariat last night....was not disappointed. I don't think it was quite as well mad as Seabiscuit, but still a really good movie. BF even liked it and he isnt a "horsie" person.

Nice status FarmPony ;)
