I saw it today, and I'll be the first to say that it was a let-down. It was decent, but...I don't know. I guess I would have rather seen more racing and horse scenes than screenshots of Diane Lane's face as she cries and despairs and becomes determined to save the farm, and her "talking" with the horse was a little cheesy, but...Most of the facts were right on (of course not all of them; that's a given), but it didn't pump me up like an exceptional racehorse movie does. Overall, it was decent, but I don't feel it was as good as Seabiscuit or some of the other racing movies I've seen.
How is talking to a horse cheesy? O.O I talk to my horses. You need to talk to your horse.
