I must admit to a severe addiction to Japan's pop/rock music. So awesome! My personal favourite band has to be Ikimono-gakari, and I also listen to Naitomea, Yui, Yellow Generation, High and Mighty Colour, Ayane, Sampomasters, Maximum the Hormone, Tamaki Nami, and Do As Infinity.
But I also listen to Sigur Rós and Múm from Iceland, Elena Paparizou from Greece, Kwoon from France, and Efterklang from Denmark.
I like music in other languages because the vocals become more of an instrument. Here's an example of what I mean:
