    Reasons being:
-I hate Bella. The actor is so.. Not good for the part, and no emotion, too depressing, yuck.
-They fell in love entirely fast. WAY too fast.
    -Vampires don't sparkle
-Vampires playing baseball... Really? That's an insult :P
-Bella treated her dad like crap. Which is a shame becasue he was so sweet to her :(
-Too... Crappy acting, cliche, too "digital-effected".

However.... Edward's a looker :) Or at least his smile and hair.
    Agreed!

If I wasn't afraid of getting killed, I'd repost my list of reasons I hate Twilight from the last thread like this.

I saw the move last Friday. It was decent, but not anything amazing. Half the theatre was laughing at the cheesy ending.

If it wasn't for Jacob ... it would have SUCKED. Just saying :]

Dialog SUCKED! Seriously? "You better get outta here or something really bad is going to happen" They couldn't have come up with something better? The dialog in the book is SOOOO much better, why take away from that?

New Moon was a COMEDY?! I thought that they tried too hard to make this relate-able to far too many demographics. The one liners really put it all over the top. This is supposed to be a DRAMA! My friends and I were laughing SOO hard that we actually got told to shut up! The book tugged at my heart strings, it did not however tickle my funny bone.

Score SUCKED! I thought the score in Twilight better suited the over all film and the mood they were trying to achieve. The soundtrack to New Moon ... wait... what soundtrack? L.A.M.E...

Missing key points! What happened to the camp fire where Bella learns about the past of the tribe and their quarrel with the vampires? Was that all in my head, or possibly another book? I felt too much like they were trying to hit the point home too quickly, we see Jacob and Bella develop a relationship, but what we don't see in this movie is how DEEP of a relationship they have. Again, very disappointing.

Bella and Edward are mythical creatures?? The one scene where Arrow is reading Alice's mind, and he see's Bella and Edward running through the forest... Wow.. All that was missing was fig leaves in their hair, a centaur (half horse/half man creature) and Edward playing Pan's Flute!

Too mainstream! I felt as though they tried to push New Moon in it's making far to quickly to capitalize on the popularity of Twilight. Also, I felt that Twilight had more of an 'independent' type mood to it, where as New Moon was just another tweeny drama.

THE ONLY THING THAT SAVED THIS MOVIE was Jacob's half nakedness, and even that was a bit too much. Yes, we all know that Taylor is hot, but I felt that the skin, coupled with the muffled moans of the actors made more of a soft core porn than anything. One lady actually told my friend that she had ruined the movie for her daughters (due to the laughing), who looked to be no older than 8!!!!!! FOR REAL!?!?!??!?!!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?! Why would you bring a child to such an 'adult' type movie?

If I remember correctly, all of these movies have different directors. I hope against hope that the next director does a better justice to this series. Granted Twilight was not a masterpiece by any means, it was, in my opinion far better than New Moon. When eclipse comes out, I WILL NOT rush right out to see it and I will do my homework before investing time and money before watching.

New Moon is just a classic case of how a book series is just so much better than the movies, and yet another reason why they should not be made into movies to begin with; unless of course you're going to put forth the time, money and effort it takes to actually do the book justice.

    *rant over*
I totally agree with you. I hated it more than I hated Twilight!

I'm with Moxie. I loved the first Twilight movie - I saw it before reading the book, which I think helped, but even after reading all the books AND the midnight sun draft I still love it.I watched it like 8 times, special ordered the DVD and own the score & soundtrack.

New moon? Well it was my least favourite book, which might have something to do with it, but I felt the movie didn't have the same 'soul'. I got hooked into twilight, the score & soundtrack made it even better... I didn't even notice the soundtrack/score in NM and I have no desire to watch it again.

Eclipse is my favourite book so I hope, hope, hope they do it justice. I want Catherine Hardwicke back!!!

Okay, to start I hated Twilight: The Movie. I loved New Moon: The Movie.

Catherine Hardwick is easily the worst director I know. The whole blue thing in Twilight was stupid. Their "running" was ridiculous. The acting was awkward and basically Twilight made me feel ashamed of being a Twilight Fan.

Rob and Kristen are not really two of my favourite actors. I think Kristen's looks are fairly close to Bella's but seriously you cannot mumble on screen and ugh. I liked Rob as Edward but hey that's just me.

The campfire was supposed to be in Twilight for whoever ^^ mentioned it. I think there is a campfire in Eclipse though that is similar. When Edward drops her off at the boarder.

From the moment Twilight blew box office figures into the sky, New Moon was not going to be a independent film. Chris Weitz was the director, and he is not an independent film director. The Twilight Series has a VERY wide target audience, you have everyone from the teeny boppers to teenagers to the Twilight Mums. Soft core porn? LOL

Anyway I can't way to see Eclipse since like Wild Spot it was my favourite book, and Im not even considering seeing Breaking Dawn unless there are MAJOR script changes.

    Loved New Moon

I refuse to read the Midnight Sun draft. It was hurtful to Stephenie Meyer for someone to leak it in the first place and I know she really was hesitant to put the draft up anyway. So, as a dedicated fan looking out for her feelings, I'm not going to read it until she decides she wants to release it. Feels too much like an invasion of privacy IMO.

Sorry if I offended anyone who has already read it, but there's my opinion.
