Taking my wife to see Twilight tonight for her birthday.

Seriously, though, I watched the previous one, Eclipse, so that I wouldn't be completely lost tonight, and it wasn't that bad.

Is anyone else going (or being dragged) to see Breaking Dawn tonight?

I actually saw the other movies in the series and I'll go to see this one - just not tonight. I liked the Ann Rice books and the Harry Potter books (and movies) but haven't read the Twilight series.

My daughter (who is 30, BTW) is really into Twilight, having read the books, and is anxious to see this one.

I haven't seen Harry Potter or the Lord of the Rings either... Or the Narnia Chronicals...

My deepest condolences, Mike. Can you sneak a flask into the theater? You may be able to enjoy the movie more if you're bombed.

I tried to give Twilight a chance, and watched the first two movies. By the end of the second movie, I wanted to drive a stake through that whiny, poor-me, emo, sparkly vampire's heart and smack the crap out of that self-absorbed, whingey little cry-baby girl.

Give me a good comic book made into a movie over any of that garbage!
