Count me in to the Walking Dead fan club. I started watching it last week and have watched every episode. I just finished watching the most recent one.

OMG!! So glad Dary found Carol, but she can back the heck off, he has my name written on him somewhere I am sure of it!

Governor is a baddy, I hope Maggie gets to do him in, she deserves it. And Merle turns out to be no surprise at all - a low-down gutless butt face.

I'm with you Alex. I mean, he's sweet and everything, but.
    ....
I think him and carol would be cute together.

Chiilaa I think you're mistaken, it's my name he has on him.

One can't help but wonder if your means of dealing with frustration was different before you started watching a show about zombies.

I wasn't able to visit this thread for a long time because I fell behind and didn't want to read anything that would spoil it for myself, but I'm finally caught up. I actually convinced my wife, who usually doesn't like anything scary, to give the show a try from the beginning and it is now her favorite show! We watched the episodes from season 1 and 2 back to back, so now that we're caught up it's painful to wait a full week between each!

She loves the show so much that I convinced her to watch 28 Days Later, too. She finds fast "infected" much scarier than slower "walkers". I can't say I blame her.

    Showing
You all can have Daryl. Now that Lori is out of the picture, I'll take Rick.

Glad she is watching with you Mike. I agree on the 28 days later, much scarier. You could also go the comedic route and watch "Shaun of the dead" haha!

Since I am out of commission for at least 2 weeks (dumb horse, ridiculous hand injury) I am thinking I am going to watch the whole series over again since I can't do much.

Love love love 28 Days Later. Such a good movie! Just don't watch the sequel, it was terrible!

It's painful to wait even if you watched them as they aired.

Everyone in my house understands that there is to be silence for the hour that the show is on. If the dogs need to go out, the kids get up without having a conversation about it and take them out. (they usually bicker about whose turn it is).
The Walking Dead is treated as serious stuff in my house.
