Worst horse movie you've ever seen?

Okay, so what's the worst horse movie ya'll have ever seen...and why?

For me, it was War Horse. Everything about that movie was just so disney-fied and utterly ridiculous that it truly disgusted me.

I actually quite enjoyed War Horse. It was pretty far fetched and highly unlikely, but I liked it none the less. I really didn't like The Black Stallion. I found that movie hard to sit through. Without any dialogue during the island scenes, I found it to be quite boring.

All of them, all personified, and kiddyfied. Secretariat wasnt too bad.

To be honest, I didn't like Secretariat, or atleast how they went about the storyline.

I agree about the Black Stallion. For me it's a snooze fest.

I like Seabiscuit, but it's about an hour too long and has way too much repetitive racing footage.

Spirit: Stallion of The Cimmaron is clearly the best horse movie not even joking!

Pretty much all of them. I still watch just to see the horses, but nine and a half out of ten times the movies suck.

One in particular that was just god awful was "Wildfire: Arabian Heart" or some crap like that. That had to have been the worst everything. Story/acting/production. BLECH! Even the adorable arab in the movie wasn't enough to make me keep watching.

On the other hand, I did like Misty of Chincoteague, Into the West and King of the Wind. No others spring to mind off hand.

I did not like War Horse or Secretariat. They were both done terribly.
War Horse, granted, was based on a kid's book but the director could have done an awesome job with it if he hadn't kiddiefied it. Made it into a real good war film based around a horse. Black Beauty wasn't even bad compared to War Horse. Just a good opportunity missed.

As for Secretariat, they focused too much on Penny Chennery and not enough on Secretariat. The start of the movie took forever to get going and then it just seemed like they rushed through the rest and left ALOT out. Even the big climax of his Belmont win was not filmed well at all in my opinion. They could have made it a bit more dramatic or at least used some real footage.
Seabiscuit was done very well in comparison. The way they filmed the match race with War Admiral is almost identical to the real footage of the race.
Of course they stretched some facts in both films but I greatly prefer the way that Seabiscuit was made. Really brought you into the movie and made you feel for the characters and their individual situations.

I didn't like War Horse. In fact, I didn't even finish it. I was watching it on the plane...and I don't even remember enough about it to say why I turned it off, but that's pretty unusual behavior for me.

Hated Black Stallion. Never could make it through the whole movie. Also, didn't really care for Flicka either.

Flicka 2 has to be the worst for me. I can sit through the first one with my sisters, but Flicka 2 was incredibly far-fetched and unbelievable. I don't know how you could NOT notice that they used at least three horses of different breeds for the adult Flicka.
