Worst horse movie you've ever seen?

Flicka 2 was so dumb, it made me laugh.
But by far the worse horse movie ever filmed was this one called Lost Stallions. Basically, it was about a sour teenager who wanted to 'find out who he really was' and did this by riding off into the woods and catching a magical "Lost Stallion" which was actually a mare that escaped from the farm.
It was pathetic, in one scene they had to fight off these wild dogs which were actually huskies and german shepherds, and there were all these snarling noises coming from dogs that had their mouths closed.

And in case anyone wondered, they defeated the wild dogs by throwing a package of beef jerky into the woods and making the dogs chase it.

Wildfire was AWFUL! It was so full of inconsistencies with character traits and facts that they had established earlier. It's like they just changed whatever they wanted to make it fit the story. Literally, they had one episode where they showed all these people who work at the farm, and two episodes later the main girl is left there by herself and trying to do all the chores alone. I was just like WTH happened to all their employees?! And they conveniently forget that these kids are supposed to be in HIGH SCHOOL. They are constantly drinking in public and one of them even opens up a bar... *sigh*

But I'm not going to lie, I totally watched through the first three seasons on Hulu I spent most of that time screaming at my computer screen though. And the pink power ranger totally plays a jockey on that show! Ok I'm done rambling now.

Ha Ha Well, if we are getting all confessional, I did too and I am OLD. So.... Yeah, what fun would it be if we didn't torture ourselves watching stupid shows so we can complain later.

They were not all in high school the whole show. Kris was 17, so was Dani. Jr. And Matt were out of school. When Jr. Opened a bar, everyone was legal.

Wildfire was a guilty pleasure. I loved it.

I loved the documentary on Buck. I've watched it twice so far. I would love to meet him in person! If you haven't watched it yet, I would recommend it.

Gah Wildfire irritated me! The first season was fine, the second was ok, and the last was TERRIBLE! She should have ended up with Matt.

Heck no! I loved her and Junior. =]

I love them all! Yeah they are definitely stupid and far fetched, but oh well! They have horses in them!

The only bad thing is how they make non horsepeople think that that's really how horses and humans interact. I am a photographer and was playing model one day for another photographer who asked if I would shoot with me horse. We met him out at the lake and MY GOSH! Totally unrealistic expectations of me and my horse!!!

Noones mentioned the movie called 'Harley'. Absolutely ridiculous. As if a parent would let their 10 year old girl get on a 'wild horse' that wandered onto their property after she heals him without seeing if he's even broken in!

I watched horse whisperer the other day and thought it was okay but I got bored when it ended up being about the people not the horse. I was like 'hurry up and get the horse back in the movie!"

Flicka 2 and 3 made me want to die. Flicka went from a nice thick horse to an arabian in the second and then an even finer arabian in the third!! The third one really made me mad when they kept using the same footage like the guy jumped the ex showjumper over and over in different parts of the movie..

Its is not a DQ to talk in the ring, but considered an error and -2 automatically. I've slipped a few times, but luckily not been heard.

EDIT: I didn't see your second question! However, I've never heard an "official" reason, just theories. Sorry!
