Admiration is NOT a man crush...

Somewhere my wife is snickering at me. She says I have a "man crush" on Clinton Anderson.

She's wrong, of course. But the accusation still stings.

Okay look, so I joined the "No Worries Club" so I could download the previously aired episodes of his television show - it proves nothing!

And yes, I have insisted that my wife watch some of his YouTube videos with me. Since when does sharing some quality time with my wife raise such ugly suspicions?

Sure, after watching a couple of his rental DVDs I did mention that I could stand to lose a few pounds so I could look that good on a horse. I guess being health conscious is a bad thing.

Worst of all, when I offered my wife a weekend getaway in scenic Madison, Wisconsin (Sept 11-12, coincidentally the same weekend as a Walkabout Tour stop) she rolled her eyes at me. I guess no one appreciates romance anymore.

I mean, yes, I do respect the guy's skill with horses. His philosophy and methodology make sense to me. But a "man crush?" That's just ludicrous! I can't even imagine how she could think such a thing.

By the way, anyone know what kind of jeans he wears?

See, there you go! I don't even know the proper terminology, so it can't possibly be one of those!

Besides, wouldn't a bromance have to be two-sided? Not that I'm interested - I just like to keep up on the slang.

Ahhh my husband has a bro-mance with his best friend. I call brian his "hairy little girlfriend" Men are so strange.

I have a certified crush on CA. If you were female, I could totally understand your crush...if it was a crush...which we all know its not...not even a little!

The guy'd be on the ground if I was his horse & he flexed my neck a thousand times in a row, as he does with any horse he's on, so come on, crushies, he's far from a dream for horses! Plus his bending his horses behind the vertical--aarrgghh!

You really don't find him physically attractive? Not even a little? Not a pinch?!

What he does with his horses (and his clients) is completly his business. It doesnt deter me from staring at him.

Dear God, I actually snorted water out of my nose when I read this! It's a good thing I'm alone in the office right now, because I cackled like a she-hyena.

Blink, you and Cori can have CA. I'm holding out for Pat Pepperoni and the dead muskrat he has on his face. That thing probably has more wax on it than my truck.

Ok...you returned the favor. My kids though I was choking I was laughing so hard at Pat Pepperoni and the muskrat. Just typing muskrat makes me wanna pee.

Even in my bad days with the drinking and the carousing....PP would have never made it past first base. I get creeped out just looking at PICTURES of the beast he has on his face. I can only imagine what kind of critters live in it! Maybe that's how he gets his following. There must be something in the moustache!
