I was on YouTube earlier today and stumbled upon your video of Xena and her story. It made me cry. And now I clicked on this post and see that it's by the same person. Such a weird coincidence. I guess I'm meant to have seen it! So glad you found this pony after Xena. Is she a rescue too? Or just one you fell in love with?

Smile does my pony look happy

Great video. Yes, Yes, what a beautiful job. Did you use Clinton Anderson/Parelli methods. Are you treating often? What do you use for treats?

Beautiful video...in every way. To my mind, you are doing JUST what a young girl and her devoted pony should be doing together...EVERYTHING, and ANYTHING. You are safe (applaud helmet wearing in nearly all the riding scenes !!) and while some of your jumps, things like that are a bit rudementary (using that which you have around the house and yard) it hardly appears that they are big enough or dangerous enough to hurt either of you except by some random freak accident, which thousands of other girls have managed to avoid just fine doing the VERY same stuff with their ponys!

You seem to know your baby and how to communicate back and forth so well! I think it is absolutely wonderful!!! (I also think that you are super lucky to have that long sided hill right near you, as I imagine going up and down it, in serpentine fashion, would be excellent conditioning for your pony, especially if you intend to jump him, which it appears you do!)

It is girls like you who end up being the TRUE NATURALS on horseback when they become teens, twenty-somethings, and beyond. The reason is you are building up your core, your balance, your general "horse sense" by simply having FUN and not overthinking everything, and loving on your boy as pony's are meant to be loved on by their girls!

I forsee and WONDERFUL future ahead for you with horses wherein you can go as far as you feel you want to!!! Nothin' is going to stop someone with your obvious drive, determination, and mainly, love of ponys/horses and being great to/with them!!!

To answer your question, finally, YES! It is completely apparent that your pony is BEYOND happy and loving every minute with you!

Wow that is a incredible coincidence julianeAHS
Xena was a rescue and she is dearly missed,
But Beauty was bought from a friend, It was amazing I even got her as she was a very green broken pony and she was not up for sale, but I wen't for a ride and about half an hour later We where trotting bareback on the first day, I trusted her in such a short amount of time more then I had trusted any-other horse before & there was no separating us,
We have been through so much. And I thank God for that little pony there where so many things going against me getting her, She is my little darling and I'm truly blessed to have her, Everything about her is truly Beautiful and the thing that matters the most is her Beautiful personality, She is so out going she truly is the perfect match for me, And She is a one girl horse she astounded me one day, I was cantering in a open field with one of my friends, And we decided to do a race, (nothing major and we do not push or horses at all we let them go for it and if they have already done allot of trailing we do not race them or even canter them) Anyway so her TB Gallops off Beauty did not even really have a chance to getting close to him with her little pony legs and tubby belly lol XD Anyway I just said "C'mon Girl" no kicking not even a squeeze with my legs I was just sitting there and she Wen't into a rather fast gallop anyway my friend and her horse got even abit more ahead (And she was not heard bound to get to this horse at all ) And she put on so much extra speed she just wanted to win !! Of course he won but she tried her heart out to win and do what I wanted her to, And she is a smart pony but she is very respectful :) She snobs me when I pat another horse or groom another horse first so she always gets brushed and petted before any other horse, She is so perfect and she is everything and so much more then I could have ever dreamed of I love her so much and I just love spending time with her :)

And at @ meghanlovee11 Thank you so much that really means allot x

And @ Get up and go Thank you so much That means heaps to me !! Awh that is so sweet of you & She is a quarter pony that's why she kinda looks solid. And I have had her 4 years this year

And @ lissaj Thanks so much : - ) I use friendship training and take abit from Hempfling, John O leary, Myler , Endo spink, Rick gore, nezrov But I don't follow one person or methods I Just take bits and pieces from different people and work out for myself what I think is the best and what suits best for that individual horse,
And also I create methode's myself and do a little bit of trick training and mainly try to focus on the bond and making it a good experience for me and my horse.

And @ Back2Horseback Your comment is so lovely thank you so very much!! It really means so much ! That hill is at out local showground and we have a few nice hills on our property,
She certainly is my 'Baby" Thank you heaps I think the main thing with horses and having fun not just for me but for my horse also and having a good bond, I think that is the base of a good relationalship and trust & respect :) Awh thank you yes I think ponies where supposed to be loved on for sure :) Your reply is really really sweet and I can see you put heaps of effort in to that reply Thank you so very much once again.

You are amazing to have put that much effort in the reply really thank you so so so so much !!
And also I don't use the homemade jump anymore, I only used it that day for about 15 - 30 mins ;) But I totally agree with you about the height it was not a dangerous height and that was the first day she ever jumped in her life, And ever learned to jump. :)
And you really made my day thank you for such a supportive and kin d reply !xx
