Actually, I'm a big fan of some of the videos that poke fun at the absurdity of some of the NH trainers. . .

First. . .since many people seem attracted to the idea of "foreign" and non-English-speaking NH gurus. I guess being "exotic" makes someone an expert on horses:

And here is your typical "cowboy" NH trainer. . .complete with a lovely and inappropriately-dressed assistant. Note that she is carrying an "apple stick." Love it. . .

I think I posted this before. I was there in the stands for both, the crowd was hyped.

This is one of Jonathan riding Boo with Hal at liberty

And one more with him on his young horse Quincy. We did this in his riding clinic and it was a hoot! It was amazing the horse's became pro's within about 10 mins of people rolling the balls.

I love this one because dressage is used as well as some tricks

Not NH, but whenever I think of good horsemanship, I think of this:

While reading the "amazing video" thread with the pony, I decided to search youtube for more of her videos. I found these three of different people that I thought were worth sharing.

"This is what's gonna keep my horse connected to me emotionally. Not physically. Emotionally. You gotta have it emotionally, or you really don't have connection. You have technique." - Caroline Rider

Another one of her videos.

And this is the first video I saw. I liked this one too. Be warned. It's a tack bashing video. So don't watch if it'll cause issues.LOL

Truth passes through three stages. First it is ridiculed. Second it is violently opposed. Third it is accepted as self evident.
