first in hand show or not!

iv been invited to do a show in hand with my little 2 year old its in 4 weeks and havent mouthed her yet . Im thinking its a bit short notice because I don't want to start dragging her around by her mouth, though she is good at walking and trotting with you .is it time for her to come to terms with wearing a bit. What do you think .

Does she have to be mouthed for it or can she be shown in halter?
How much have you done with her?
How much experience have you had?
How big is she? ( easier to hold a mini then a shire)
Who will be going with you?

what classes are you thinking of doing? In the UK at 2 yrs old for some classes she will not have to be bitted.

I do a lot of high level showing (M&M's, SP, SHP, coloureds and riding horses) so if you have questions feel free to ask.

She sounds like she would be a coloured traditional.

Does she look similar to this one (this is fully mature but gives you an Idea:

If yes then she can be shown in a white rope halter or a white webbing halter (webbing tends to be more popular with the welsh pony crowd)
