First lesson on monday!

Well, since I saw Andy Booth and Stormy performed in Paris, I'd like to try, and I thought that, when I will have my own horse, I will.
In 2006, I bought my fav' pony: Lucifer

but the dream turned into nightmare...

It seems that he had a very wrong first instruction, and it's getting worst and worst so and now, I am afraid of him because he bucks me off like a wild bronco without any hurt (I made a check point to be sure all was ok) and whatever I ask or do... (if you want photos, there are in my diary).
So I said... "well, maybe it's time to try..." I asked some instructors but all answered me that I will have to put my pony in their stabble (very far away from me) for 750�/months and to pay lessons 50�...

well I am student... So I gave up... And last week, I found another one, I wrote an e-mail telling how I felt, what was the problem, and the other reactions... and they answered that they will come on monday for 40�!

They are working with Elizabeth de Corbigny, Andy Booth, and students of John Lyons.
Now I hope I can get something learning and working this way because for me it's as if it was my last chance...

Well this is time to tell you what happened.

So on monday the man came and we began. Fisrt, I look at him working with my pony. I was very surprised! I so little time, my pony was so different!
Then it was my time to try, and even if I was a little bit stress, this was cool, he was next to me to tell me my mistakes, the way to do.
I had to put my pony's head the way I want, then to move his back, then his shoulders, this was great! And then we began the "stop rein" called "emergency stop".
And the moment I was afraid of arrived: on saddle...
Well, he began, and it was my turn. My pony was so calm, so cool, and really, for me it was a new born: no stress. I began trot! I didn't ride my pony since october! Wow, what a beautiful day.

The man stayed 4 hours with us and really, I noticed a changement, in my pony, but in me too, new feelings, new horse-riding way to do...

Really, now, maybe I understand better my pony, and I wish never had to go back to classical riding with him again...

It is a work on tension, pressure, but they give in, they give a comfort to the horse when it found good answer! This permanent tension "contact " is the classical horse riding of equestrian-center in France, maybe new way to go for a better complicity in between our horses and us.

Well, now, I have to continue, and to work and work again on it. But I ride again, I work my pony next to him and on him, and his eyes have a new light...
