Hi guys!! My horse and I made it to the Parelli center just fine, been here a little over a week and I'm LOVING IT!!! I'm learning so much, working very hard but I don't mind one bit:) I'm living my dream! I will be doing my Fast Track course in February then staying as a working student to work off my Extern course, then Intern, then Protege.....that's the plan right now anyway lol. So I will hopefully not be leaving anytime soon! My horse and I are having so much fun when we get to play, he's doing so so well and next week I will be fortunate enough to have a 3 star Instructor give me some advice with Arie. Can't wait!!

My time here just keeps getting better and better!! I am learning so much, and not just about horsemanship! I'm learning a lot about myself as well. I've been talking to one instructor at length about Arie (and actually myself, but I didn't make that connection until yesterday....pretty thought provoking) and I've learned so much from talking to him. He's going to help me with Arie when there is time :)

It's a lot of hard work, but you really have fun doing it! I was actually able to participate in a demo we had at our Open House last weekend, it was so much fun! I had people coming up to me afterward asking me questions and all that, I just love being in this kind of community, everyone is so positive and upbeat, I've never been around people quite like this before. It feels like home :)

Way too go! Your doing what so many people never have the courage to do. I'm sure at the end you will be a lot further down the road to being a great horseman.

Spirithorse!! WELL DONE!! I would love one to be able to travel to the Parelli Ranch's and meet the people there and just soak up the atmosphere & energy. I look forward to hearing more stories about your time in Parelli Land! :)

Thank you guys! :) I played around with some things the instructor had suggested to me today and man did I see improvement! I also saw confidence issues in my horse I had totally missed before....pretty interesting. Right now I'm strongly focusing on how LITTLE does it take to get my horse to do something. Today he actually made a downward transition when I just thought about it. I've been watching how soft and subtle all the instructors and mastery students are so I have that image burned into my brain now. THAT'S what I'm aiming for now. I absolutely love it here!!
