What do you guys do on Groundwork? I would like to see some videos or pictures to get new ideas. How long have you been working with that horse and what method do you use?
I can't wait to see your videos :D

This is my 3 year old gelding Dakota. I trained and broke him 2 months ago. I use mostly the Clinton Anderson method.

I don't have any videos but this is the same method I'm trying to figure out. I'm not a very stealthy person on the ground so line dancing and cheerleading never panned out for me. I have a rough time trying to get everything figured out. I had never done ground work before because in the hunt world, that's not really something that people focus on.

When I moved to the breed shows ground work became everything but at that point, my guy had figured out how to bully me so I actually had to seek out a trainer to teach me ground work. He is a CA person so he got me interested. I bought the membership, the rope halter and lead, the lunge line and the stick... Anyone that knows what they are doing can make my horse look crazy awesome with the ground work. With me, it's slow and sloppy but he's given up on bullying me so now I have time to figure out the dance.

I do have him switching directions for me and he does yield to me very well, that was never a problem though, the lunging was... I'm getting there though. Your video may have been helpful to me. You exaggerated your slide of feet on the change of direction a couple times so I might actually get it tomorrow when I head down to the barn to see if I can do it more fluidly....

On this video can you see me riding a lil bit and also on the first video I ride bridleless.
.

Since I didn't start riding him until our groundwork was good and I had his respect and trust I can't say that the riding improved :) but it gave us a great start.
I trained many horses before that were already broke with those horses the riding improved a lot.
