Sorry but there is some truth to how you speak to any animal. They may not no what you say but they understand the tone. If you tell the ugly horse enough times that she is beautiful she will start to believe it.

I suppose referring to her as an overgrown dog when she kept licking my hands wasn't good either.

Ok-during our little intermission, I have been looking at a couple of old posts by "trainer*. He/she responded to a thread specifically labeled for girls only, about mid way thru, so he was lurking for a bit before he said anything, and, in another he/she thought a bullwhip was a good idea to get a horse to lunge. Hmm. Damn. Just when I thought I had the answer to ALL my training issues.....
