    Instead of re-typing it all, I'll just link to the post I just made in a similar thread.

    My thought is tack fit. If the saddle is hurting her, she will try to run away from the pain. At the walk, the saddle digging in or putting pressure wrongly, won't feel as bad as when she's trotting or cantering - the faster gait will make the saddle move more on her.

    Once you have determined that tack fits well and there are no issues there, then it is a training issue.
