How do I teach a great riding horse (thoroughbred) better ground manners??? HELP!!!

I am starting to ride one of the thoroughbreds we have at my barn and he is great under saddle but has horible ground mannersIt is so hard to work with him unless you are riding him.

Does anyone have any advice or tips on how to teach a sort of crazy thoroughbred, better ground manners?

Do you have any access to any of the ground manners DVD's or books? Clinton, Parelli, Cox, any of these and many more will give you a great start. There's a lot going on with bad or no ground manners and the breed doesn't matter. So, to be safe and enjoy your horse a lot more it would be great if you could get your hands on some of this valuable info.
