I need advice/ideas-- thanks for advice

This morning I walked out there, and of course she didnt want to come near me once again and so I made her move til she didnt want to move anymore, then I put the halter on and I did the same thing had to chase her with the lead rope but likewise she let me walk up and clip it to the halter, then I took it off after I praised her for it and gave her a treat, then she started to follow me around, and then I took the halter off and I groomed her standing there with no halter or lead rope she stood still and she also stood still as I saddled her and bridled her she usually takes off when I tried that before and I got on and walked her, and got off and untacked her standing still again. And she followed me around......

I think we have something good going for us thanks for all the advice it really helped.

Just yesterday she was bucking and rearing up, so this is a complete turn around.

Yay! A good day. I would advise against tacking up and grooming without her being tied or having a halter on though. You don't have any control if she acts out.

Sarah, I hope when you say you chased her down that you actually walked her down.
