The Parelli University?

Any one know any thing about it, or ever been?

Parelli University - Natural Horsemanship Education

I don't exactly agree with Parelli, but he seems to have the best/only school like this.

It's realllllyyyyy exspencive, but real university cost much more, so it's really about how you look at it money wise.

Any way, what are your thoughts? Not saying I'm going to go, I jut found it and thought it would be worth looking into.

Just go find a good repurtable proven trainer in your area and ask to aprentice under them. Will not cost you anything and if you show your worth most will start paying you for your work. It is a win win for all. At the end of the day you will learn more and get to ride a lot of different horses.

Don't wast your money on a guy whos clame to fame is that he is a great at marketing. Well unless you are looking to learn marketing??

I've already tried that, they want me to pay them to do that 2.

The reason I was thinking about Parelli, is because he has the name, fame, and he advertises trainers on his site.

Then you are not looking at the right trainers. Most top trainers take apprentices.

I personally will not look at a horse who has PP training and I would not use a PP trainer. I have been around to many horses trained that way and they have been the worse horses I have ever been around. Horses who have never been handled have been better to work with then PP trained horses. I think there are a lot who feel this way too.

Keep looking to find a trainer who needs help.
Wallaby and ohmyitschelle like this.

Well I've contacted every trainer I could find with in 2 hours of me.

I also feel that way about PP but like I said, its the name, fame, and his advertisement.

His school is the only thing that I've found so far, and that's why I asked for opinions on it. I'd much rather study under some one else, trust me.

Look up Craig Cameron. I believe he has a ranch in ..maybe New Mexico? That should at least give you a comparison.

Does Equistaff still have an office in Ocala? I got my first horse job through them when I was 18 and didn't know how to put on a halter.

Ugg stupid phone is making me post like crazy sorry.

I can't apprentice for at least another year if I have to leave the state, because I don't have the money.

I don't know if equistaff does or not, but I am registered with them, and have talked to them on the phone. Im not really looking for a job though, I'm looking to further my knowlage to become a beter trainer, so I can get a job in the future.
