I doubt that Buck would do it. I hope he wouldn't as the format encourages pushing these little horse far faster than they should be. I think it also sets expectations for people that are uninitiated to horses or training young horses. I think it would be a better idea to do it like the mustang makeover competitions where each trainer gets 90 days to train the horse and then they bring them back and compete.

I agree that colt starting should NOT be a timed event, but I am still very impressed with all of these talented trainers who can accomplish so much with horses in such a short time. It would be better though if the horses were more in charge of the time line. The Mustang Makeover is a better format.
