    Ok, I went back and re-read your post and I misunderstood what you had said about moving his feet lol! So he is more extroverted when nervous (instead of hiding inside himself) so my original suggestions would work well for him. It will snap him out of that chaos that is his emotions at that time lol.

    The more places you can take him and work on building his confidence, and the more things you can teach him and build his confidence (working on his confidence in new enivornments and as a learner) the more you will see OVERALL confidence and relaxation in him.
