Is there anyoone else from UK

Hi - Just thought I'd touch base and see if there was anyone else from the UK and if so where abouts. I'm based in WestWales and host regular Playdays and clinics (Natural Horsemanship style).

Would love to touch base with anyone else from the UK

I'm from the UK, but I don't live there anymore lol

I do like the whole 'natural horsemanship' thing though, that's if you want to call it that.

I'm from Lancashire. Bit closer but still far away. I've cycled in waled a bit though. Nice place. Bit lumpy, but nice.
Natural horsemanship sounds interesting, I'll have to go and google it.

Please excuse my spelling/grammar mistakes, I'm British.

I am originaly from north wales (Colwyn bay area), but currently living in Hull.

I have used a natural horsemanship trainer down your way (lampeter) although it was the most horrific journey I have ever done in a lorry.

RIDE your horse FORWARDS and keep him STRAIGHT

I learned NH as kind of a basic model of horse training back in the US (where I'm from) and it's always worked well for me. No one I personally know here uses those methods as a baseline (some of them could use it, but nevermind). There is, however, an NH trainer near where my horse is kept at livery but I've not done more than peruse her website. She has "branded" her method of horse training, given it a silly made-up name, and you can take courses at her barn where you become certified in her special system. That brings out the skeptic in me and puts me off. Can't you just call it training? Why does it need a daft brand name? For all I know, she might be very good and I'm being unreasonably grumpy and judgmental.

There's another NH-style trainer in Fife who has a website that clearly explains his training philosophy and doesn't give it any silly made-up names. I find that far more appealing.

Miss Arizona, I know a NH facility near East Midlands - do you know Kingdom Horse? That's a really good place to go, I even travelled to the UK to stay there for lessons for a week once. :)

I have come a long way, to surrender my shadow to the shadow of my horse.
