OK so this is a thread about the Video and the people in the video?? Do I have that right??
I am not impressed. It is nothing but circus type tricks performed with whips??
Is that not discussing the Video and the people in the video??
Are we to cheer, have group hugs when we see something that we feel is not great??
I will stay out of this thread since they don't really want cricism only praise. Let them have their moment.

There are thirteen dozen threads with criticism. This thread is about inspiration. If it doesn't inspire you, it's not necessary to post. You are a smart person and it is blatantly obvious that you are only chasing SpiritHorse just to bring her down. Your efforts are much better appreciated somewhere where they matter, not just to act superior because you don't agree with someones methods.

Don't bring hugs and happiness in it. You are better then that, and better then this innocent charade you attempt to play every time someone points out that you find it neccesary to attack EVERY thread that's posted by certain people. It's childish and ridiculous and quite embarrassing I would think for a man your age to be so threatened by something different that you find it necessary to act in such a manner.

To clear up my half of this...I wasn't bashing anyone to bring them down. It was my opinion, and what I thought of the VIDEO and the NH deal. I've tried NH and found no use for it, therefore, I should be free to post that to let those know that it did nothing AMAZING for me.

*sighs* Apparently people can't follow a simple request. What a shame.

No one is bringing me down with their ridiculous, childish, immature posts :) I wouldn't allow such a person to have that kind of power over me. I stand firm in my beliefs and that's that.

This is not meant to be a slam in anyway. I am just asking, in a simple sentence, as someone who's unfamiliar with the various levels. When do the people ride the horses over the barrels, jumps and through the plastic shower curtain thing, instead of send them from the ground?

You just have to see your distance...you don't have to like it.

To answer your question MyBoyPuck, it all depends on the horse/human team. If they, as a team and partnership, are ready to test their foundation in that way, then by all means they should go for it :) The Levels in a way do dictate when you do certain things, but not everything. The only reason for the dictation is to make sure the horse and human are ready so that things are set up for success....like if your horse won't stop without you touching the reins, you shouldn't take the bridle off and try bridleless! Lol. However if the horse and human are confident to ride through the "car wash" as they call it, then great!

I would point out that all these things are done by the London police horses in their training without the need for whips (even though I understand their usage) and all are done on horseback. Parelli is not involved in their training.

That simply tells me that it is no biggie at all.

No one said it was a "biggie" Spyder. And actually, several years ago Pat did a demo for the Queen of England and after that she required all her "people" (for lack of a better word lol) to be Level 1 at least.
