I had a little NH success story from today

I've been trying to bond strong with my new horse (6 yr old paint gelding) and I've heard over and over again that to "Make him look to you for leadership" and "The leader is the one who can move the other horse's feet" and I am in total belief of this

So I was in the pasture around feed time (hes currently boarded at a little farm a couple miles from me) and I remembered thoughs two facts. So I made him move from his hay, and kept him moving in the pasture and made his feet move. When I'd done a couple minutes of it I stood a couple of feet from his shoulder and held out my hand, He walked right up to me!! It was a great little progress thing (to me anyway). :)
