Have fun showing! As others have said, you are never too old!

I made the decision to begin showing this year and went to watch the classes I would enter in for this particular show series. For some reason I was afraid I would be the only 59 year old woman in a novice rider class with a bunch of 8 year olds.

Not the case! I had fun and we did great. Looking forward to hearing of your show successes!

I'm a granny with disposable income and I still ride (slowly! LOL) but I don't show. If you're worried about being too old to do something at 30, you might just as well toss in the towel, sit in a chair, and molder. You are only going to get older. It's just a fact of life. So forget that "am I too old" manure. I would give my eye teeth (if I still had them) to be 30 again! My theory is do whatever you want to until you're no longer able...and then get online and tell other people what they should do!! It's one of the really enjoyable perks of being older than dirt!

I'm not a complete idiot--there are parts missing!

What you have become is the price you paid to get what you used to want.
