My confidence is just there for a real forward moving horse like my fox trotter. Maybe someday I can work up to that. My goal is just too be able to ride down the road with him for more. I know I'm a whimp! Lol.

Nope, not a wimp at all, you just don't have the knowledge/experience to feel confident yet. You'll get there .

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/

Not a wimp at all. You are brave just doing what you are doing! Kudos to you and would like to hear more about how you progress. For myself I just found that forward wasnt what blew my confidence, it was rearing and unpredictable that got me. My morgan is very forward but also very controllable and wouldn't hurt a fly

I brought home my new quarter horse gelding on Monday. He is a sweetheart and I can't wait to ride him! I did find out that white horse + manure + rolling = 1MESSY HORSE!!!

LOL, and it always seems to be the horses with a lot of white that find the biggest pile of nasty to roll in.

Just so you know, we're expecting pictures of the gorgeous guy .

Wow, he's a real beauty! Congrats on having such a mellow and quality fellow in your barn.
