I think the older you get (im 41), the less seriously some of us take life although I have some friends that you definitely can't joke with. Me, I laugh, know what's important and just enjoy myself. Time will pass anyway, whether you spend it being embarrased or get right out there with a cushion under your arm and say "This time i'm ready" :) Have fun x

Oh yeah....you'll get your turn about something, trust me.

Plenty of ways with horses to find something comical about.

And get back up and learn to ride. You will love it.

Yes, well...the husband in me says you should NEVER joke about childbirth WHILE a woman is pushing on that watermelon. The response you get will not be laughter. And don't ask me how I know.

You shouldn't be embarrassed. It was your first time riding and although I can't relate exactly to your situation, I can understand where you're coming from. Don't beat yourself up about it... Balance and finding your proper seat in the saddle will help you with avoiding that later on. Trust me, we have all had our fair share of embarrassing ego-twisting moments... You'll get over it.

So, this was your first time on a horse?
Was it fun? Do you think you'll want to do something more with it, like take some lessons?

As a fellow male rider, I will say that it happens from time to time. When I first started riding It seemed to happen every other ride. I too rode with alot of females who busted my B@11$ (Yes, pun intended). I never tried the whitey tighty but as you learn to ride better so will your boys :P

I couldn't help but chuckle a little at this thread. I don't have any experience with this but good luck, and I don't think you should give up!

I think every male rider will experience "that" moment. My nephew, who just started riding this year, age 25, has done very well. That is until he asked Misty for a stop, but allowed his movement to continue after asking. Needless to say, "the boys" got initiated but good. He handled it well, after getting his air back. All he said was that he hoped his wife didn't want to get intimate that evening, because it would be the first time he'd have to refuse! This last bit was delivered in a very dry manner and just cracked me up completely (though I tried to turn my head and be considerate for his discomfort....I was somewhat successful).

Btw, he now knows that when asking Misty for a stop, make sure you are prepared to stop.
