    First Dressage Lesson Tomorrow!

Extremely excited! We just moved back to the east coast and while my husband is deployed (again) with the Army, I've decided to take some time for myself each week. I went to their "open barn" this weekend and was thoroughly impressed with not only the quality of the facility and instructors, but how genuinely nice and approachable the boarders there were. And wow is this place CLEAN! Instructor got her USDF Bronze and she truly seems fantastic. I watched several lessons (one a haul in, advanced level, an advanced beginner and another somewhere in between) and was very pleased with her subtle adjustments to each rider/horse and her positive approach to training. I scheduled my first lesson with her tomorrow night and am anxious, but can't wait! Will post afterwards and hoping to get some pictures. Any tips?? I tend to overthink everything and I'm trying hard not to mentally get ahead of myself...

I'm in the southeastern part of OK, so we should just get rain, but you never know with OK weather, so we are watching it.

I know you may hear this a lot but, Thank You for your families service! My family appreciates it!!!!
